FDIC Deposit Insurance
On July 21, 2010, FDIC Deposit Insurance is permanently increased from $100,000 to $250,000. This limit applies per depositor, per depository institution for each account owership category.

Mortgage Servicing Statement
Compass Savings Bank is proud to say that it has never sold or transferred its servicing of loans it has originated in its 76 year history. Many banks claim to know their customer, but we take it a step further.
What this means for you is that when you close your loan with us, your payment of principal, interest and escrow, if applicable, will be processed at our office. Additionally, should you have any questions aboout your loan, you would call our office and speak to a person.
FDIC Trasaction Account Guarantee Program
Compass Savings Bank has chosen not to participate in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Customers of Compass Savings Bank with non-interest-bearing transaction accounts will continue to be insured through Decmeber 31, 2010, for up to $250,000 under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.
Compass Saving Bank made this decision based upon its sound financial position, therefore, there was no specific urgent need to participate in the program. We will continue to serve your needs without the help of the program.
